Growing Heavy Crops in Cozy Farm: Support First, Fertiliser Second
Updated Oct 25, 2026
If you learned Cozy Farm from an older guide, unlearn one thing first. The old farm punished you for feeding the same crop over and over, so the standard advice was to split fertiliser evenly across all six plots. The current version works differently: a crop's existing weight no longer shrinks what each feed adds. What decides the gain now is the growth bonus on that plot, and that bonus comes almost entirely from the Tatari you borrow.
That one change flips the whole strategy, so this guide is built around it.
The farm in short
Cozy Farm is a team event. Your garden has six plots; fertiliser goes onto those crops to add kilograms, attach other trainers' Tatari as support to speed growth, and your total weight pushes you through personal milestones and up the team leaderboard. Tap the ? beside the event title any time to read the official rules.
The schedule is fixed: three days, split into six rounds of twelve hours. A fresh round starts twice daily, at midnight and noon UTC. Weight carries over between rounds and never resets, and when a crop passes certain weight marks it changes colour and moves up in rarity.

What actually adds kilograms
Fertiliser feeds. Each feed adds a set amount of weight, and that amount depends on the plot's growth percentage, which already includes the support bonus. Players who logged their feeds found that a plot at +255% gained about 3,550 kg per feed while plots at +243% gained about 3,430 kg, and the +255% plot was the heaviest in the garden at the time, sitting above 181,000 kg. A crop at 20,000 kg on the same bonus gained exactly what a crop at 41,000 kg did. Weight simply stopped mattering.
Crits. Every feed has a 16% chance to crit. The split is 10% for double weight, 4% for triple, 1% for x4 and 1% for x5. Nice when it happens, but it is pure luck, so never plan around it.
Natural growth. Crops also grow by themselves every hour, offline included. It follows the same logic: around +250% gives roughly 10 kg an hour, while a plot stuck at +126% manages about 6. Small next to fertiliser, but it adds up over the hours you hold good support.
Colour changes. Crossing into a new colour sometimes adds a small bonus of 40 or 80 kg. Noticeable for light spenders, irrelevant for heavy ones.
One warning before you start tapping: the fertilise button can read x200, which may spend 200 fertiliser per tap. Watch the counter under it.

Hunting good support
The Support button leads to a screen called Request Support. Every plot has its own list; use the arrows to move between plots. Each row shows a trainer, the grade of the Tatari they are lending, and its Growth Speed +X%. That percentage boosts both your fertiliser feeds and your natural growth, so it is the number that matters.
Rules of thumb:
- Be online when a round opens. The moment the clock turns over, everyone scrambles for the strongest lenders and the good ones vanish quickly.
- You only need one great plot. Filling all six with average support is less useful than one plot with an excellent lender.
- Attach support before you feed. Fertilising first and finding support afterwards wastes the bonus on everything you already spent.
- Look for Shiny Tatari. Glitter versions lend more Growth Speed than regular ones in this event.
- Skip weak starter support. If a plot only has the low bonus left from the opening tutorial (something like +126%), do not feed it.
When a trainer says "Limit reached"
Support lasts a single round, and the timer counts down twelve hours. Popular lenders fill up, and the game then tells you the limit for this round is reached. At that point the button turns into Reserve, which books that trainer for the following round. Late in the event, when strong support is constantly full, reserving is often the only reliable way to get it.
Spending fertiliser
Since each feed is worth more on a higher-bonus plot and weight no longer drags it down, the efficient move is concentration:
- After attaching this round's support, check which plot now shows the biggest growth percentage.
- Put all your fertiliser into that plot rather than spreading it.
- Next round, if a different plot lands stronger support, move your feeding there.
Can you hoard everything for the final day instead? Yes, and since rewards claim automatically when the farm closes, it fits nicely with pinball banking. Just make sure you have reserved or grabbed a very strong lender for the last round before you dump it all. Feeding a huge pile into a weak plot is the one way to waste a last-day strategy.

Milestones and the team board
Your rising total unlocks milestones one after another, each paying gold coins, items or gift boxes. On the main screen, a column down the left side lists every teammate's weight, and where the team finishes sets everyone's placement prize. When all four players attach good support and feed the right plot, the team climbs together; nudge your teammates if they are feeding blind.
Fertiliser comes from the pinball board, where some slots show a fertiliser bag, while a farm icon along the right-hand border tells you how much is ready to collect.

When the farm is worth more than usual
Cozy Farm's own rewards are modest, which is why most players treat it as a quiet stop between Zobo Shooter and Fishing. The exception is evolution. A number of trials accept fertiliser as one of two options:
| Evolution | Treasure Hunt option | Cozy Farm option |
|---|---|---|
Electroar → Blitzmane![]() | Dig up 70 treasures | Use 4,200 fertiliser |
Rockshell → Terraton![]() | Dig up 120 treasures | Use 7,200 fertiliser |
Rockzilla → Meteorax![]() | Same as above (120 treasures) | Same as above (7,200) |
Kitjitsu
→ Taiglow
takes 4,000 fertiliser or 2,000 Marathon skateboards. If one of these sits on your list, plan your fertiliser for it.
For where the farm fits in the full rotation, see the pinball banking guide, and check the event calendar for when the next round starts.
Tatadex verdict
What Fox sees people misunderstand most in Cozy Farm is thinking a big plant is less worth fertilising. What matters is the support Tatari's Growth Speed, so put your fertiliser into the plot with the strongest support, even if that plant is already heavy.
Cozy Farm pays less than other events, so Fox wouldn't put too much effort into it. Just log in at the start of a round to grab good support, attach support before fertilising, and you get most of what this event offers.
