Chapter 15 teams: stages 15-10 to 15-80

8 stages · 70 teams

Levels in chapter 15 hardly move, holding around 272 to 284, so what changes from stage to stage is the plan. 15-10 adds Trippet, a support that boosts attack speed but nicks its allies' HP to do it. 15-20 hands the fire to lane 5 with Kitjitsu in the middle of it, 15-30 starts every lane in the third row for five even lanes, and 15-60 moves the fire into lane 2 from the very first row. 15-50 has an enemy that goes after your rock units by switching places, and the 15-80 boss is the clearest case in the chapter of tier mattering more than level.

You won't find a board without Stalkerix, Cheerlet and Sparkdoe; Cobbledon, Turtuff, Frostique and Azurion appear in most. Surgehoof starts showing up in lightning lanes, and its shock waves splash harder when they hit water enemies, which suits boards with a lot of them. On 15-50, one player lost twice to the rock-hunting enemy before swapping the tiger and the hound around, so if your rock units keep vanishing, try moving them. For 15-80, the T3 monkey was described as the thing that made the fight winnable, even for a player well above the listed level.

Stage 15-10

10 teams · Suggested level: 262–309

Notes on stage 15-10

15-10, listed at level 274, brings in a support that pays for its buff in HP. Trippet, the T2 of Funglet, stands in the third row of lane 3 behind Firecoil. It emits an expanding ring of spores that keeps damaging enemies, and it also deals a little damage to allies while giving them an attack speed boost.

That's why it sits right behind Firecoil, with Cluckeroo after it. The spores chip at their HP and the two healers put it back, while Azurion at the back fires faster.

Capobeetle is the other key cell, in lane 2 behind Stalkerix. Like Goonbug it gains Invincibility and dashes forward, and it adds Fragile to the dash, so Rockfu behind it hits enemies who are already softened.

In this setup, lane 4 is Electroar, Cheerlet and Sparkdoe. Here, lane 5 is Cobbledon, Turtuff and Synthhog. Lane 1 starts in the fourth row with Frostique and Ripplewing.

Electroar has been swapped out for Blitzmane four times, and Swaystroll has stood in for Ripplewing three times. Voltling or Zapooch have gone in for Synthhog, and Pyrohound for Trippet.

Stage 15-20

10 teams · Suggested level: 265–326

Notes on stage 15-20

15-20, at level 284, gives the fire to lane 5, and it's a different kind of fire lane. Pyrohound stands in the third row, then Kitjitsu, the T2 tiger, then Ignisnap at the back.

Kitjitsu is the reason for that order. Its chi attack deals area damage, and when it hits Burning enemies it can dash forward and recover HP. Ignisnap's fireballs set that burn up from behind, so the tiger keeps healing itself. When it's in Danger, it can also retreat and meditate to heal over time.

Lane 3 serves as the front: Stalkerix in the second row, Turtuff behind it, then Pandaroot's bamboo and Frugatoad. Pandaroot's shoots keep slowing and grow stronger the longer they stand.

Specifically, lane 2 is Electroar, Synthhog and Sparkdoe. Note that lane 4 is Cobbledon, Cheerlet and Rockfu. Lane 1 starts in the fourth row with Ripplewing and Frostpaw.

Frostique has been the swap for Frostpaw, Jarachnid has gone in for Cobbledon, Voltling for Electroar and Humbleetle for Rockfu.

Stage 15-30

4 teams · Suggested level: 267–285

Notes on stage 15-30

15-30 (level 284) starts every lane in the third row, so it's a board of five even lanes without a long one.

Lane 5 is new: Voltling, Surgehoof and Bubbit. Voltling is a guardian whose shadow attack paralyses, Surgehoof's shock waves splash more on Water enemies, and Bubbit's mist slows and makes enemies Fragile from the back. The three skills stack well on whatever is held at the front.

On this board, lane 3 is Turtuff, Synthhog and Rockfu, so Synthhog's Fragile lands in front of the T2 monkey. For reference, lane 2 is Pyrohound, Ripplewing and Frostpaw. Grid-wise, lane 4 is Electroar, Cheerlet and Sparkdoe. For reference, lane 1 is Stalkerix, Flametail and Frugatoad.

The player who shared a level-268 version said you could replace the chicken with Frugagon and it worked either way. In this one, the third-row Stalkerix has Flametail behind it, which takes the place a healer would usually have.

Azurion has replaced Frugatoad, and Blitzmane has replaced Electroar.

Stage 15-40

7 teams · Suggested level: 266–314

Notes on stage 15-40

15-40, a level-284 stage, opens lane 1 a row earlier than the rest. Electroar stands in the second row, then Turtuff, Humbleetle and Surgehoof. Electroar's arc knocks enemies back before they reach Turtuff, Humbleetle's dung balls slow them where they land, and Surgehoof splashes into the slowed group.

The other lanes start in the third row or later. Lane 5 is the tiger lane from 15-20, moved to a new place: Stalkerix in front, Kitjitsu, then Ignisnap setting the burn that lets the tiger dash and heal. For this stage, lane 4 is Voltling, Cheerlet and Sparkdoe, two paralyses with a healer between them. Here, lane 2 is Pyrohound, Rockfu and Frugatoad.

Lane 3 is the gap. Ripplewing and Frostpaw start in the fourth row with no guardian, relying on Sleep and Slow to keep enemies away. If anything leaks through, it's likely to be there.

Since this lineup has no listed swaps, Frostique for Frostpaw and Frugagon for Frugatoad are the obvious upgrades, the same ones that worked on nearby stages.

Stage 15-50

10 teams · Suggested level: 272–296

Notes on stage 15-50

15-50, at level 272, has a threat that targets your rock units. One player said the grass zombie can switch places to kill Rock, and after losing twice to that they swapped the tiger and the hound around.

In Lineup 1, the rock is in lane 2: Cobbledon in the second row, Rockwu behind it, then Waveflutter and Humbleetle. Waveflutter is new, the T3 of Dewgrub. Its water bombs slow and sometimes put enemies to Sleep, and attacks from adjacent allies can also Slow and Sleep. Standing between Rockwu and Humbleetle, it makes both of their hits carry that chance.

Lane 5 works as the longest healer lane: Stalkerix, Firecoil, Frugagon and Cluckeroo. Grid-wise, lane 3 is Blitzmane, Sparkdoe and Bubbit. Also, lane 4 is Swaystroll, Cheerlet and Frostique. Lane 1 is just Azurion in the fourth row.

A level-292 player with dojos at 4-3-3-3-3 shared a version for this run of stages, though they said they were guessing a bit from memory.

Synthhog has been a substitute for Bubbit five times, and Surgehoof has also gone in there. Ignisnap has stood in for Azurion, and Solaflora or Haplysia for Cluckeroo.

Stage 15-60

9 teams · Suggested level: 269–315

Notes on stage 15-60

15-60, at level 272, moves the fire lane into lane 2 and starts it in the first row: Pyrohound, Firecoil, Frostique, then Waveflutter in the fifth. Pyrohound's fire pillar takes the first hits, Firecoil's ring heals it and boosts the rest, and Frostique's ice slows enemies in front of them.

Waveflutter sits at the back with an empty row ahead of it, and its bombs slow and sometimes Sleep whatever gets that far.

Then there's lane 4, the lion lane: Blitzmane, Cheerlet, Rockwu and Sparkdoe. Inside lane 3 sit Stalkerix, Frugagon and Cluckeroo. Inside lane 5 sit Boldclaw, Swaystroll and Capypapa, a water guardian and a water tank with an orange-peeling healer behind them. Lane 1 is just Azurion at the back.

Lane 1 is empty for four rows. Azurion's burn alone has to deal with what comes down there, so watch it early.

Kitjitsu or Haplysia have replaced Waveflutter, Frugatoad has gone in for Frugagon, Rockzilla or Electroar for Blitzmane, and Rockfu for Rockwu. One version even used Synthhog instead of Cheerlet.

Stage 15-70

10 teams · Suggested level: 272–317

Notes on stage 15-70

15-70 (level 272) opens three lanes in the second row and holds two back. As for lane 1, it's a lightning lane, and the new piece is Surgehoof between Blitzmane and Sparkdoe. The lion knocks enemies back and boosts both, Surgehoof's shock waves splash on hit, and Sparkdoe's lance pierces and paralyses from the fourth row.

Lane 3 has a gap in it. Layout-wise, Boldclaw leads from the second row, the third row is empty, and Frostique and Waveflutter sit in the fourth and fifth. Looking at the grid, Waveflutter is right behind Frostique, so the ice shards can also carry its Slow and Sleep.

Lane 2 is home to Stalkerix, Cheerlet, Frugagon and Flametail. Lane 4 is home to Swaystroll, Goonbug and Azurion. Look at lane 5: Cobbledon and Rockwu in the third and fourth rows, two guardians with nothing behind them.

Rockzilla has gone in instead of Cobbledon twice. Voltling, Zapuni or Zapooch have gone in for Surgehoof, Rockfu for Rockwu, Firecoil for Flametail, and Ripplewing for Waveflutter.

Stage 15-80

10 teams · Suggested level: 272–328

Notes on stage 15-80

15-80 is the boss, and it's one of the stages where tier matters more than level. A player at level 294 with dojos at 3-3-4-3-3 said they really needed the T3 monkey to beat it, and another at level 279 couldn't make a shared lineup work. Others said it needed a T3 monkey or T3 Waveflutter unless you were well over the level, and that luck plays a part.

Lineup 1 starts three lanes in the first row. Lane 4 is where the monkey goes: Blitzmane, Cheerlet and Rockwu. On this board, lane 3 is Cobbledon, Turtuff, then Rattlecoil and Humbleetle after a gap. Note that lane 5 is Voltling and Sparkdoe, both paralysing.

Haplysia is new in lane 2, behind Stalkerix and Frugagon. It's the T4 of Droppit and unleashes a cloud that keeps damaging, slowing and making enemies Fragile. It also carries a Water aura while it's on the field.

Note that lane 1 is Clawzor, Frostique and Azurion. Clawzor's claw inflicts Shredded on the enemies it hits.

For the centre, one player found the boar worked better than the snake. Pyrohound has been the swap for Clawzor twice, Rockhog has gone in for Rattlecoil, and Waveflutter, Pandaroot or Capobeetle for Haplysia.
