Free-to-Play Progression: Where Your Resources Do the Most
A free account in Clash of Critters will never match a spender's pace in the first weeks, and it does not need to. What closes the gap over time is putting each resource where it compounds: stars from the story, pinballs saved for the right event, food fed to the right Tatari, and
spent on units that stay useful long after the current season ends.
The guides in this section build on one another. The starter playbook covers the first month: how the pinball economy works, what to push early and the mistakes nearly everyone makes in week one. The chapter guide picks up from there and walks through the first fifteen chapters, including which modes matter at different spending levels, which packs are worth it and which early units carry you. The ten habits are a quick list to check against your own routine, small things like using raid candy well and reading a trial's requirements before you start it. The food ledger is the one to keep coming back to, because food quietly decides how far your evolutions go: where it comes from, what each bento can hold, how stat grades move and who should eat first.
Two pieces of advice run through all of them. First, spread before you specialise: five T2s in each element will take you further than one Tatari pushed to T3. Second, never spend pinballs just because you have them; the event loop rewards patience.
Once you want to plan evolutions in detail, the seven-phase evolution plan sets the order, and the event guides show where the materials come from.
