The second chapter of the Lightning Dojo keeps one grid for every stage, and every unit on it is a second form. Lineup 1 fills lane 1 from the front: Electroar in row 1, Cheerlet in row 2 and Sparkdoe in row 3. Lane 2 contains Voltling in row 1 with Synthhog behind it in row 2. Lane 3 is left empty.
The jump from the first chapter is the reason these stages feel harder. Enemies hit harder and arrive in bigger groups, and the board answers with control rather than raw damage. Electroar pushes enemies back, Voltling paralyses them, Sparkdoe's spear paralyses a whole line, and Synthhog marks enemies so everything else hits them harder. Cheerlet sits in the middle of it all, healing and protecting.
The layout leans left. Two lanes are covered and the right one is open, so enemies from lane 3 drift inward onto Voltling.
If that open lane troubles you, the most common alternative shifts the same core one lane to the right. Electroar, Cheerlet and Sparkdoe move into lane 2, Voltling moves to row 1 of lane 3 and Surgehoof joins it in row 3, which leaves lane 1 empty instead.
The pages that follow take each unit in turn, then the alternatives.
Lineups are numbered in the order shown above, left to right, top to bottom.
